Trick or Treat

Our Little Learners Halloween Party was filled with much fun. A lot of sunshine made the day even more enjoyable. Children dressed up, had their faces painted and got messy with slime time.

Parents had the opportunity to carve out a pumpkin with their children and to enjoy a spooky Halloween snack from our buffet. A big thank you to all the helpers! This wouldn’t have been possible without you all!

A little historical inside.

Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October the 31st. It dates back to over 2000 years ago and relates to the ancient Celtic holiday called Samhain.

The ancient Celts believed that on this particular day it was possible for the ghosts of the dead to return to earth.

At the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain people would light bonfires and wear scary costumes to keep the ghosts away.

Today we celebrate Halloween with costumes, parties and an overload of sweets.
